In addition to several methods, the ingenuity of Booster 4 mosquitoes lies in the carbon dioxide produced. The device produces mosquitoes with the help of an attractive carbon dioxide Co2 bottle. Convenient Co2 bottles suitable for the trap are used e.g. water in carbonation equipment and are readily available. The bottle is safe to use and transport compared to the liquefied gas cylinders used in some traps. Filling with Co2 gas is also considerably cheaper. One bottle of carbon dioxide is enough for about 2 weeks.

The Mosquito Booster 4 is able to attract sparrows from an area of 1,500 m2. As the mosquitoes come next to the trap, the fan in the device sucks the mosquitoes into a collection container from which they can no longer escape.

When you start using the Booster 4 trap right in the spring, you can prey on individuals from the first mosquito population before they have time to reproduce. By continuing to use the trap throughout the summer season, you will also achieve a permanent reduction in the mosquito population in the area.
